Some Updates

Hey guys, a short update: My friends and I have decided we’re going to go to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Arkansas again for our spring climbing trip. We’re planning on going at the end of March (March 27th weekend). The weather should be great and I’m really excited to be climbing with this many friends.

As far as summer plans, I will be going on a cruise with my family to Alaska. This should be mildly entertaining and it’s really a shame that skrill does not work in Canada anymore (or else I would heavily consider setting up a bank account up there while I am in Seattle for the cruise).  I’ll probably try to take a trip with my girlfriend as well.

My staking is going really well and I’ve had some of my best results over the past few months. Although I’ve been doing great,  I’ve been thinking long and hard about my future outside of staking. I definitely see myself doing this for the foreseeable future and I really enjoy my work. I guess the question then becomes, how do I make my income more diverse? I’ve thought about getting a job outside of staking so that I could stake + work a real job. The guaranteed income is definitely something that feels really nice and I haven’t really had a ton of that in my life.

I guess I’ll just keep grinding and looking into other options. Web work/affiliate stuff would be pretty cool and I think that I’d like to eventually work with some of those projects if I can stop being lazy.

Work at the rock wall has been sucking lately and I’m on the fence on what to do next. I’ll explain more once I think about the situation more.

OT a bit, this is cool for the Superbowl. I’m really hoping that Seattle wins and I already booked Seattle +2. Go Hawks 🙂

Edited post (no more scamming)

I decided that I am tired of being scammed. While it’s always going to happen in this industry, there are some things that I’ll do to try to prevent it.

Here is a site I am putting up for a former stakee of mine.

Edit: He paid all the money back. I’m happy in this restitution and the work he’s done.

In other news, I had a great New Years celebration. 2013 was a great year for me- I really learned a ton in my staking business and I am seeing those profits build. Rock climbing was sort of a wash this year. I was very strong and climbing awesome early on but hurt my finger later in the year. That, in conjunction with an earlier oblique injury, has sort of stalled my progress. I’m getting back into it now though and I hope to be full strength within the next few months.

I hope that everyone has a great 2014. Thanks for reading.
